To boost drive-thru speed, we introduced real-time tracking and gamification, to motivate faster, more efficient service.
HME audio communication system
We enhanced drive-thru communication in 346 UK Starbucks stores by installing HME audio systems, ensuring clear and precise order exchanges between customers and the kitchen staff.

We have introduced sensors to monitor the time it takes from a customer's arrival at the speaker post to payment and order handover. This helps us identify areas where we can speed up service, improving both business efficiency and customer experience.
